Training

Fireworks... Anytime provides a number of opportunities for both consumers and professionals...

  • - to learn how to put on a better, more enjoyable fireworks display
  • - to learn about fireworks
  • - to learn how to make fireworks
  • - to become a better, safer professional fireworks crew member

To help you accomplish any of these goals, we offer a variety of seminars and workshops, as well as a full apprenticeship program for those who would like to become a professional fireworks crewmember and perhaps, eventually, a professionally-licensed pyrotechnician.

There are three levels of workshops, each designed for maximum enjoyment and success:

  • • 100-Series workshops focus on the basics of safety and help you get more out of
       your backyard display.

  • • 200-Series workshops are for those who want to learn how fireworks are made,
       how they work, and actually get your hands dirty making your own.

  • • 300-Series workshops and apprentice programs are for those who are serious about
       pyrotechnics as a career; as a means to satisfy their need for "that smell";
       or want to actively participate in professional fireworks displays

We recommend that non-professionals complete the 100-Series workshops before undertaking the 200-Series, although it isn't mandatory; we stress safety in every workshop we conduct.

Please note that the duration of each workshop is a reasonable estimate; actual times may be slightly more or less.

Please note that due to Department of Transportation regulations some of the fireworks made in our workshops cannot be transported off our property. We make every attempt to time those workshops so you can light off your completed fireworks prior to going home. Alternate times are also made available for you to return to our Display Site to put on a "mini-display" for your family and friends.
